Bases
The base is part of the overall monument design, we can make straight or curved with or without a slope in the centre. This slope is a great place to inscribe additional lettering. You can also have more than one base that step up to the headstone, this is called a B11 plinth. A granite base is usually the same colour as the headstone but does not have to be. Some families like the effect created by using different coloured granites.
